SAS Institute business development manager, Pamela Morales, shared different cases on precision marketing.

The Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines (BMAP) recently held its 7th General Membership Meeting last July 30 at Outback Steakhouse Glorietta 4, Ayala Center, Makati City wherein the topic evolved around Analytics on Social Networking.

SAS Institute Philippines, Inc., sponsor and presentor of the month, discussed the different means on how to expand a marketer’s vision about his customers through analytics. SAS Institute business development manager, Pamela Morales, shared different cases on precision marketing. Since most consumers are now engaged in social media, marketers might encounter some difficulties in tracking the sentiments of the consumers properly. Social Media Analytics, then, provides a solution that organizes and simplifies the wealth of data across online and social media sources making it easier for marketers to act on. Different kinds of frameworks can be provided by SAS to make every interaction with the consumers precise and relevant.

Meanwhile, Sodexo Pass, Inc and Maybank Philippines, Inc. are the latest addition to the roster members of BMAP as they were formally inducted during the GMM.

The jam-packed event was attended by different officers and staff of the association’s member institutions.
